General Power Equipment-GPE was founded in 2000 by joining the experience of a skilled technical team of engineers coming from the power conversion field. GPE is actively promoting its products in the power energy conversion market with a complete range of devices that are extremely reliable and totally customizable according to the customer needs.

GPE products are used for different fields of applications, mainly for railways, subways, airports, hospitals, power plants, oil and gas platforms and a great variety of industrial processes. Since 2000, GPE has built and installed more than 70000 devices and more than 85 % of these were distributed abroad, particularly in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico, Egypt, the Middle East, Africa, the Far East and the CIS.
The main production site is located in Italy, in the provinces of Novara. Thanks to the know-how of highly specialized engineers and technicians team who following all the steps of the project, allowing the company to reach a very high level both in terms of quality and reliability, it has sold products and systems in over 55 countries worldwide.
In addition, under the strict supervision of Italian management, GPE produces UPS, AVR, Power Converters, and Inverters at other two production facilities in: Turkey (where the UPS 3-phase is produced) and China (where the single-phase is manufactured).
